This heirloom variety originated in West Virginia over 100 years ago. Gardener Jerry Lee Bosner of the small town of Lowell, Ohio (Washington County) introduced this seed to Seed Savers Exchange for commercial use in 1994. The Hillbilly tomato is Orange, Yellow, and Red with Pink streaks.
