The Pink Brandywine tomato has excellent flavor and is among the most well-loved heirloom varieties. It grew to popularity after gardener Ben Quisenberry of Meigs County, Ohio shared seeds with Seed Savers Exchange in 1982. This is a potato-leafed variety. The Pink Brandywine is distinct from the Red Brandywine introduced in the late 1800s, but some believe it could be a re-branding of the 'Mikado' or 'Turner's Hybrid' sold around the same time.
